Despite legislative efforts globally, gender inequality persists due to entrenched patriarchal systems, perpetuating discrimination, and violence against women.

Series 1 (limited highlights through the photographic lens the extraordinary strength and emotive power of survivors of domestic abuse to rebuild their lives and their children's after leaving a violent and coercive controlled relationship. A physical emotive reaction to the injustices of violence against women is explored in this first image of the series by a survivors daughter now a young woman who sees, experiences the daily injustice of gender inequality.
The first of this series advocates for global societal change, addressing societal norms and gender based violence, critiquing patriachal systems and the rise of misogyny.
