Lena Engel and Patrik Graf's performative collaborative work examines the interfaces and the dissolution of boundaries between technology, humans and nature. Ideas of post-humanism are combined with those of the new materialism to explore the complex relationships between these elements. The photographic documentation visualizes the interfaces of space, time, matter, reality and fiction. Each photograph is a recording and thus an act of removal, of separation, which presupposes a process of isolation. A simultaneous cutting out and detachment from space and time, which turns the image into an imperishable space-time block, is attached to a single and constitutive point of view, the subject, and detached from its original context, the continuum of reality.
Size of each frame: 60 x 40 cm. Price for the series.
