A Un lugar no lugar: the envisioning of a home, the sensation of impossibility when wanting to appropriate a space loaded with illusion and significance. Inevitable deterioration. A space that has peeled off every layer imposed by each person that passed through it. Fragments of a porcelain cup, fragments that left traces of a coffee that represents the everydayness that wasn’t lived there, symbolizing a timid attempt to leave something of my own, something unrepeatable in this place that is not a place, as evidence of the history that marked it, and now it can only be part of the ruin, the abandonment of a house that once meant something, or should have meant something, what could have been but never became. It isn’t and it will never be.
