UN EDIFICIO
A detail of the ancient hospital of Genoa, founded in1422, and bombed during the World War II.
This work reflects on how humans, depending on their context, leave "traces" of themselves both in History and in stories of their own communities.
These traces - woven from ideas, emotions, and intentions - manifest in artifacts such as urban buildings, artistic creations, initiatives, and collectives or familial activities. They carry an enduring emotional essence , still communicating with those who encounter them even after the creato passing, though their messages may sometimes be obscured or overshadowed by subsequent occurrences and other marks.
Note:
The image is printed on transparent plexiglass and applied to the wall by 2,5 cm. spacers; appropriately illuminated it projects its shadow on the wall, so that the image seems double; the shadow is an integral part of the picture.
