The images in Reassimilation Diet are composed in domestic spaces and use framing, color and texture to explore the corporeal and porous nature of caregiving. My family, loved ones and self are examined through staged performative actions. Focusing on the gesture of hands as a method of portraiture, these photographs touch upon intimate, radical moments that consider the transference between humans and nourishment.
