TIME AFTER TIME
Writings
from Nature in the Anthropocene
A
concept within a fairy tale
Once
upon a time there was a tree that humans called time, a fossil, a stone: Amber.
He
arrived on a journey, from places of definite representation*, in a wood. Amidst the many trees he thought: “I will
feel at home”. Instead he found and saw an analogy*. At that sight, his lost awareness* contrived a
projection*, an actual film*. He was left with a dazed impression* of time, the
trees, reality and the planet.
He
lost his way, a red cloak caught his attention. What is this? Reality? Or yet
more bewilderment?
He
followed the red.
At
the limits of the wood he saw the sun. Yellow like the colour of amber. He
found himself outside. Out of time.
In
that space where Nature creates.
The
end
This
simple, minute fairy tale is a very small moment in time belonging to this era.
The
characters also belong to another story. That of the work's creative process:
*
'Places of definite representation' (Body of Metaphysics) = digital Paper
Rayograph.
*
'Analogy' = analog
*
'Consciousness / projection / film' = projection
*
'Confused' / digital
Time
After Time aims to be a philosophical operetta in the shape of images.
It
is a momentary re-proposition of a Metaphysics of Nature, therefore an obvious
anachronism.
The
fairy tale has a happy ending, where Nature is left to its creative space,
devoid of the presence of man.
Time
After Time belongs to my research stream and its origin dates back to over a
decade ago.
Here
I present a small body of work, together with a digital and a paper rayographs.
For
the time of this short story, the rayograph, with its twentieth-century
atmosphere, temporarily lent itself to impersonate 'The Body of Definite
Representation' in the system of the Metaphysics of Nature.
In
the first setting concept, the 'Places of definite representation', an abstract
rayograph will be central. It is imagined as a focal point of the exhibition as
well as in setting the size of all the images, central to the other photographs
from nature.
Born in Rome in 1956, Fabio Orlanducci lives
and works in Itay, sharing his time between Umbria
(Valnerina) and Rome.
He is an artist and his interdisciplinary practice includes drawing,
photography, collage, painting, ceramics, video and installations.
My way of working is to try to fix an inner vision through elisions,
transparencies, projections, temporary concealment or veiling of reality to
obtain an "other" space and time.

TIME AFTER TIME
casa.
O ancora confusione?
Seguì
il rosso.
Alla
fine del bosco vide il sole. Giallo come il colore dell’ambra. Si trovò fuori.
Fuori dal tempo.
Nello spazio in cui la natura crea.
FINE
I
personaggi appartengono anche ad un’altra storia. Quella del procedimento
creativo dell’opera:
*’Luoghi
digitale.
*’Analogo’
=analogico
*’Coscienza/proiezione/film’=proiezione
*’Confusa’/digitale
Time
Time
After Time appartiene ai miei filoni di ricerca e il suo inizio risale a più di
un decennio fa.
Qui

fotografia, collage, ceramica, pittura, video, installazioni,.
