This picture was taken in Kolmanskop, a ghost town invaded by sand and lost in the middle of the Namibian desert. People from all around the world came there after the discovery of diamonds in 1908 and it went through a real « diamond rush ». But a few decades after; a new diamond deposit was discovered in the south and people left as quickly as they arrived. Little by little, a metaphoric sea of sand recovered all humans settlement to create this incredible and unreal atmosphere.
