«Tiam» is an untranslatable word. It refers to that particular sensation that arises in seeing a pleasant situation: a girl reading a book on a crowded bus, a man who has taken his chair from home to placidly sunbathe on the edge of the canal, two elderly hands holding each other in the same tram handle.
«Tiam» is the awareness that beauty exists: to see it you don't have to look for it but grasp it in the fleetingness of the moment.
