System failure
The works in the “System failure” series appear to have been created by random.
In reality, it is the deliberate overloading of a computer system with the image files provided, working with trial and error. The files to be processed and the scope of the tasks are experimented with until the system is overloaded and slowed down. The aim is not to crash the system, but to overload it so that a result is achieved shortly before a crash or the end of the process. This result arises from the incomplete execution of the tasks and consists of image processing errors and random repetitions of individual image segments. In the field of tension between humans, who are supposed to be at the mercy of artificial systems, and the loss of control over these systems, this is perhaps a hopeful aspect.
