Photo documentation of the process of creating a sculpture.
These pictures were taken at various stages of transformation of the found object - beautifully broken pig skull that artist bought at the iconic roman flea market Porta Portese.
While skulls and bones mostly associated with death, caramel as a candy material is considered as life and joy.
Caramel is covering a skull, changing its shape and making it unrecognizable anymore, creating completely new object with a new meaning, showing us the basic and natural life circle where death is present in every living form and the dead object is transforming into "alive" again.
