This wall art was created in Florence and was photographed on Via dei Servi with a view of the Duomo. It was important to me to show life on the street. The street name means “Street of Servants”, which probably meant the servants of the church or the huge cathedral. I spent two days on the street and took 1000 photos. This picture was taken on the second day at 12:15 p.m., which can also be seen on the clock in the picture.
I have artistically edited this image and reduced it almost exclusively to black and white in order to draw attention to the interesting content. In particular, people can be recognized while walking around the top of the cathedral. When it comes to people on the street, the two women in the foreground with the patterned dresses and the lady with the small child on the stone bench attract attention. How many thousands of people have sat there in the last 500 years?
