Still life with a coffee can

Our civilization is faced with the global problem of recycling. Especially Russia, which doesn’t separate collection and recycling of waste. Reflecting on this issue, I turned to the genre of still life, which translated as “dead nature”. Instead of beautiful objects peculiar to this genre, I used the garbage I had found in russian forests. I mix it with some objects that are mandatory attributes of a classic still life, thereby creating a connection with the traditional pictorial tradition.
