Although
working in a closed studio space is less unpredictable, subject to planning and
management, I do not follow the strict rules and solid organizational structure
of a photo shoot. As much as the process has been thought through, it is
important to leave some space for spontaneous improvization or a lucky chance internvetion. I am the one
that partially manages is from behind the camera, and partially letting the
process lead me, engulf and pull me into its flow, for there is nothing more
powerful than melting into one with the art being created. Woeking with models
in a studio is only an initial stage of the creative process. A photography is
yet to be born once the photo shoot has ended. I continue investigating the
compiled material, searching for the most exciting elements, possible
combinations and overlaps. The creative stages I am led by correspond to the
dynamics of the night: from the darkness, its creases boiling with nascency, to
preparation for bringing everything into the light of the day.
