#PleaseSaveDEVERO is born from the need to take sides, as an artist, alongside those people who, even today, despite the results of uncontrolled human development are under the eyes of all, are fighting battles to stem the new forms of economic exploitation of those environments wonderful but very delicate to which we are fortunate to live next door, the Alps.
The Alpe Devero is a small mountain pasture located on the border of the Veglia - Devero natural park, in the province of Domodossola, today protected for its landscape interest but which is threatened by a new invasive anthropic project that threatens to distort its places, front of the construction of new and anachronistic ski facilities.
The project is based on a series of photos that are able to tell how you risk contaminating and losing the magical atmosphere that the park's places can and still give in an increasingly urbanized alpine chain.
A window on the future, a story realized through a deliberate disfigurement of the magical landscapes that distinguish the park.
Created over two years in analog format to limit the technological effect of the images themselves and use their vintage flavor to increase their emotional weight, making the observer face the irreparable nature of the gesture that is likely to be performed and feel the urgency to act to save what is possible to save.
