"The Things We Leave Behind" is a series of images touching on the objects that are forgotten. Lost toys left on the shelf, candles that have been burned to their base, and jewelry from a high school sweetheart. These objects hold meaning. They hold memories. This series showcases dying fame, lost love and all of the things that attach themselves to intimate objects. Both bittersweet and full of love, the bright colors and soft shadows throughout the work showcases the ups and the downs with the objects we hold dear.
"Puppet Graveyard" deals with discarded fame. An icon of joy and entertainment has fallen to just pieces of what it once was. The object, though intimate, feels this abandonment. Flowers are thrown on the grave of childhood wonder and idolization.
