This shot is part of a portfolio dedicated to industrial archaeology, one of my favorite themes. I love the beauty that still lives in abandoned architecture, made imperfect by time, just like in the Japanese Wabi-Sabi that celebrates beauty in imperfect, temporary, or unfinished things.
In a decadent landscape of loneliness and discomfort, a building that has ceased to exist in terms of its functionality, its usefulness, offers the sad beauty of its tired facade to a young thought of love.
A thought overflowing with life, full of passions and ideals that only youth has the courage to show without worrying about having to deal with its declared vulnerability. It is an instant of happiness for the old wall, that happiness which is the fruit of giving all of oneself to the moment one is experiencing, without sparing oneself.
This shot is a praise of beauty that is part of imperfection, an invitation to experience a sensory image that escapes the codification of reason because, without fear of becoming vulnerable, it tells a small ripple of happiness in a seemingly lifeless landscape.
