Poland is…

How to talk about an idea, abstract? That is one hand.
On the other hand: what is narration about homeland
(what is the homeland?) In recent years, I have been living
in a place where the assumption of homeland being
obvious and clear is abused. Reality around me “grindsâ€
words Poland and Homeland every possible way. Poland
is involved in various idiomatic phrases and sets of
thoughts. This narration boasts itself with confidence
that somebody has their own monopoly to define (also
for me) what Poland is and is not, as well as what it
should or should not be.
That is how I started wondering for the first time what
this place means to me and how it is defined by people
in my everyday life. Poland is… came to life by finishing
the sentence by familiar and unfamiliar people or
those whom I’ve just met, in total number of about three
hundred fifty men and women of Poland. For a brief
moment, I wanted to define this by myself – on one
hand, the bizarre place, and on the other – my strange
state of embarrassment and commitment; commitment
to micronarration about Poland. Is it compliant with the
Great Narration?
But – does it matter? Maybe what matters the most is
that Poland is how we write it…
