Plastic is Fantastic

As a photographer and artist I have a penchant for kitsch. In my series "Notes on Kitsch" I investigate what lies behind this world of glamor and glitter.Humor is an important part of my photography. In this way I encourage the viewer to take a critical look without being taught.The emphasis here is on the degenerated banality of food in the western world. Where it is a necessity for others, the food is shown here as if it were toys by means of unrealistic design and colors.
