This work aims to express the relationship between human’s "social civilization" and "primitive impulses" and indicate that in modern civilized society, humans are still affected by nature and society. The visual center of the work is installations, the main body of which is a human-like sex toy in a work suit protruding from a pink blanket. The writings on the images are inspired by the "inscription" of the Chinese painting. The text comes from the inscription on classical Chinese erotic pictures and The Book of Songs.
The "Pink" and "Green" in the title of the work not only refer to the visual perception of pink colors placed in a large area of green colors, but also is a metaphor for human beings struggling in nature and society. "Pink" represents human beings, because newborn babies, who represent the future of social civilization, look pink. "Green" represents the entire natural world that includes human civilization and society, which is also a world of desire and rules. "Pink in the green" can thus be understood as "human beings live in this natural world that is full of desire and rules."
