In the meanwhile virus, bacterias and parasites spread and mutate. In a fast rhythm never yet seen, almost as if we can see with bare eyes.
The world is going through "Mutation". We are changing the perception we have of the way we live and relate to each other.
And a hope that will reflect in the political decisions that mould the world.
"Pills" was made through a process of overhead projection of assemblages made by glass objects produced by
casting and lampwork techniques, filmed and edited as a stop motion and action film.
It is a scene photography from the video art "Mutation" made for Arte Laguna Prize, and is part of the series.
It is the result of a research involving light, shadow and glass. The objects were made specifically for the photographic production. To capture
this third dimension that glass produces through the shadows, which sometimes is not present in the object it self. It adds a a volume
and a sense of Unheimlich. Famliar and strangeness.
