Whether it is climate change, war in Europe or Israel,
information overload, refugee flows, budget deficits, rising burglary figures,
Corona or inflation, reports are coming from many sides that are changing our
perception and also our behaviour right now. This endangers our balance and
inner peace.
My counterbalance to this is the contemplation of smaller
sections of vision, because they lend clearer thinking, give peace and form new
creativity.
The Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto (1898 - 1976)
once described the situation of a small child sitting on the floor in a rather
empty room: he starts playing with what is there.
A prisoner sitting behind barbed wire has two options: he
can give himself up or he becomes creative and, detached from his guard and
limitations, begins to see each spike like a note. He feels himself and his own
personal vibration, his melody. In these moments of creativity, one's own
resonance space vibrates and gives inner peace and strength. The result is a
sensitive peace song made of barbed wire.
Musicians have already realised it for me several times,
fantastic.
