OSLO (SERIES III)
This work Oslo (series III) is the fruit of a metamorphosis: the original photography was taken on Summer 2016 in Norway, on a boat anchoring in the bay of Oslo, before it enters the port and docks. The sea and the atmosphere were extremely calm. It was the end of the afternoon and I felt transcended by this ambiant serenity. While I was taking photographs, a fine drizzle began to fall. Far away, we could distinguish a light fog, quite low, while the sky was strewn with various colors. Few hours later and during the next two days, I discovered Oslo, its charm and its palette of repeating colors: the same vivid orange, vibrant blue and green-ocean pastel. I worked on this series during the last four years, trying various scenarios. Mid-2020, I finalized this Oslo (series III) from one original work done on the boat with a DSLR Nikon and with multi-exposures and later by adjusting the cursors of light, exposure and contrasts. I have also conducted several density breaks: by literally breaking the content's density, by pounding and pounding again the photography during several weeks, step by step, new lines, details, shapes and colors appeared. Impression of infinite possibilities. Another world full of hope.
