In a new search for mystery, I dove into what lies in the unseen of opaque photos, exploring the hidden rhythms and flows of a photo. I felt that some work I’ve made in the past had more to offer than initially thought, by utilizing data inside of the photos these works came to life.
What sparks my attention is the level of detail, color and forms that are already inside these pictures, as if it was hiding in plain sight, offering a different perspective of works that may have been disregarded before. To me, working with opaque photos is giving what is seen as lesser quality a new light, a world of its own and a place to be itself: unique.
About the V style:
A visual experiment, using self-developed techniques to get a unique result. In a search to showcase my journey, my shattered self, I recomposed the colorful view of the path I'm on. Questioning what digital photography can truly offer, creating works that can’t be recreated and becoming perhaps a new way of looking at digital art. This limitation is what inspired me to explore further and really find ways to push what I could create, visually the new, protected by its own conception.
