What will future generations say when they talk about the world we left them?
With the series The World We Left Them, I want to represent an intergenerational dialogue between the people of today and the representation of the children of tomorrow. Far from a pessimistic vision of the future, it expresses the urgent need to sound the alarm for the sake of our planet and the generations to come.
Through this photographic series, I urge the viewer to understand his actions and inactions have consequences in the future and to remind him that we have the responsibilities to choose beyond the immediate interest.
The underlying question of these photographs is the irreversibility of our choices and our actions: will one day be too late to reverse the course of things and can we eternally delay solving the problems for tomorrow?
The photo "Looking for some fresh air" speaks about the problem of air pollution, which is getting worse every year.
