I have always considered photography as a cathartic means, a way of self-exploration but also of self-acceptance. In these shots I play in an evocative and metaphorical sense with my naked body, to expose my soul, to tell my little story. Each shot is an act of love to myself, to my imperfection, to my fragilities which, through artistic creation, sublimate in strength and courage. "Leggera e grave" is me, innocent and unruly, shy and shameless, with my joys and my scars, but also all the women who like me through the difficulties of life have learned to love their skin, women who have strong hands to embrace themselves and safe feet to walk in the world.
