This is a photograph of fire multiplied six times with colours manipulated on Photoshop until there is no resemblance to the original source material - fire. What is seen is a figment of the imagination of the photographer - akin to a Rorschach ink blot test. An outside observer might create other meanings subject to their own perceptions. From Wikipedia: The Kon-Tiki expedition was a 1947 journey by raft across the Pacific Ocean from South America to the Polynesian islands, led by Norwegian explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl. The raft was named Kon-Tiki after the Inca god Virachoca. My imagination perceived something almost Polynesian about the shapes forms by the fire. What do others observe?
