WW1 saw 1.5 Billion tons of explosives fired across the trenches. Much still lies unexploded underground. Detonations of WW1 ammunition were filmed, images placed in a grid resembling a contact sheet with time codes and numbered 1-24. The images reference the famous 1878 Muybridge experiment consisting of 24 photographs shot in rapid succession. Similarly this aims to show what the naked eye could not break down in what almost appears to be an experiment, whilst documenting the legacy of WW1
