In the flowing interweaving of the levels and in the potentiation of movement, man, space and nature amalgamate into a kind of body landscape, as in Strings Underwater, Tintig or In Perpetuum. Ephemeral narratives between abstraction and concretion, located in the pendulum movement as described by Aby Warburg in his Mnemosyne Atlas: in "the realization of the polar function of artistic design between swinging imagination and swinging reason".
The genuinely photographic moment is extended, the freezing of a single moment in which space and time are transferred into an iridescent dynamic. The metal-coated foils in particular reflect and absorb colours and light differently from conventional photographic papers, giving the motifs a fascinating depth and three-dimensionality. In addition to the existing light at the moment of photographing, there is the light at the moment of viewing.
