Fotografia di famiglia

In the work "Family Photography" the family relationships and personal identity of the subjects photographed are hidden in the photo itself. I folded a photograph in order to break up the overall vision, then I photographed it from two different angles to create an alternative narration. Gestures, attitudes and attitudes thus take on a new, unexpected, almost alienating value. The two pieces that make up the diptych are deliberately framed by a material layer of fluorescent red paint that accentuates the folds made.

Nell'opera "Fotografia di famiglia" le relazioni familiari e l’identità personale dei soggetti fotografati sono nascosti nella foto stessa. Ho piegato una fotografia in modo da spezzare la visione d’insieme, l'ho poi fotografata con due angolature diverse per creare una narrazione alternativa,  I gesti, le attitudini e gli atteggiamenti assumono così un valore nuovo, inaspettato, quasi alienante. I due pezzi che compongono il dittico sono volutamente incorniciati da uno strato materico di pittura rosso fluo che accentua le pieghe effettuate e le distorsioni create dalla piegatura.
