When we close our eyes to disconnect from the outside world, what are we connecting with instead? Do we pause our own existence, or do we exist now more than ever, observing ourselves from the inside out, with our conscience actively collapsing our realities into one?
"Eyes Closed, Day 89" represents the experience that unfolds when eyes are shut for an extended time in the warmth of the sunny outdoors. We become engulfed by the crimson red of the blood flowing through the sheerness of our eyelids and are compelled to wonder and be wondered by the building blocks of our own existence. In this brief but profound moment, we reflect upon our bodily senses and the often-forgotten landscape of the inner self.
