WHAT IS ART?
Art is a basic need.
The ability to think abstractly, to create art at all, is what makes us human. Without - we are just survivors.
A discussion of whether art and culture are systemically relevant or not should not be allowed at all.
Because art is timelessly relevant.
THE ARTIST is a multidimensional experience.
Well-known artists and art supporters are portrayed by the photographer Petra W. Barathova in reminiscences and references to classic masterpieces: the New Masters pay homage to the Old Masters and thus represent the timeless importance of art.
Each of the artists shown is represented by a reminiscence, a portrait and an example of his/her work and at the same time has the opportunity to present and sell his own art within the framework of THE ARTIST.
Part of the proceeds will benefit charitable organizations that promote art and culture in rural areas, and cooperation with educational institutions is being planned.
