It's a photo project that depicts intertwining of naked bodies in the black empty space. It's been evolving through time as do I. It started before COVID changed the way we touch, how we relate to strangers' facial expressions, when half of the face is covered with a mask, etc.
It continued through the last 2 years, with now two wars changing lives, bodies and hearts of nearly everyone I know. Holding a funeral via zoom, or holding a terrified friend by their hand with emojis — these require new embodiment skills we did not possess before.
Our support systems and our extended bodies combine in new ways, and it is yet to be seen who we are in this process of becoming.
