CONTEMPORARY GENOME

Contemporary Genome is a series of 23 photographs (here one only) inspired by the pairs of chromosomes that make up the human genome and wants to represent, in an artistic key, the set of genetic information, the genomic imprinting of man.

The viewer is faced with a choice: to mirror oneself in one of these images, to bring it back to its primordial nature, its genome, through emotions and sensations, in search of a personal connection.

This game wants to leave a wider message. Each of these images is generated by a composition of black and white, the sum and the absence of colour to symbolize that in the precise instant of conception we are of different forms but all essentially the same.
