This shot is part of a Project entitled: "Re-knowing: memory in the eye"
It is interesting how few signs are enough to allow our mind to recognize and give meaning to those signs. There is a light large enough, in the foreground, in this image, but the attention of the viewer is immediately captured by the luminous dust in the background, and despite the fact that it is a small, small luminous dot, the memory of the eyes is hastened to offer meaning: it is Christmas.
A smile emerges perhaps, but immediately afterwards (if the eyes have not stopped looking) a question also emerges: but what Christmas will it be for those who live on that suburban balcony at the bottom of which a cold neon can be seen?
