This photo I snapped on my rainy walk in the forest of South Sweden.
These are the raindrops caught in the spiderweb.
I always wonder how elegant and durable constructions are done by a spider.
Just have a look - this construction looks like a cable-stayed bridge! Or maybe it is an inter-planetary connection system?
And at the same time, this construction by the spider reminds me of the "old-school" childhood game with the string. I remember, how my mom was playing with me this game, showing different objects just with the string on her fingers. That was an amazing game, so simple and so delightful for the kid's imagination.
And these different feelings are mixing inside me... on one hand, it is about simplicity, and on another, it is about complexity...
But what is clear for me - I like the spider's art.
The photo is printed on the fine-art Baryta Satin Hahnemuehle paper (300g), using archival pigment inks.
