I captured
the moment when my son was playing on the beach, being totally focused on his
actions.
On the
picture warm colour of his skin completed by blue accent, contrasts with cool,
grey background. Shadows enhance the sculpture of terrain. The scene emanates
with stillness and tranquillity.
The child
drew circle lines around itself. With every move went deeper in sand - as in a
whirl. His moves were smooth. Each one seemed to be deliberate, well considered,
as if they could change the world. Like in Amos Oz’s novel:
“Children
playing with white pebbles transform them into armies of soldiers fighting
fierce battles that can change the image of the world. By giving meaning to
things, they transform the world.”
