Words are silent by the emotion

The words are silenced by emotion, it is a collective performance by women artists because I believe that our voices have changed history and it's a way of raising our voices. It is a socially engaged art project; one by one, our different women's languages come together to create and sing an hymn that celebrates the union of languages, a harmony that represents the coming together of our differences. Through a workshop made previously the hymn is created and translated. Translation means the interpreters have put something of their own, it also visualizes our similarities and the paths of colonialism. The drawings from the backside are the mix of the translations each of us made.
