The 'Practice' project is a work that reflects concerns about how to resolve the generational conflict between the older and new generations, which is becoming more serious.
'Practice II', the second work of the project, breaks away from the conventional way of handling traditional instruments and shows moving, dancing, and playing them in a more primitive way. Unconventional acts are repeated through practice, forming new customs, and in this process, the distinction between tradition and modernity becomes blurred.
In the work, the older generation is represented by the gayageum, a traditional Korean instrument, which is traditionally played by placing it on the floor.
