Air acts both as an indispensable element and as an important medium for the self-circulation of life of various organisms and communications among them. Therefore, it is a relatively infinite continuum, just like the process of regrowth of human hair when a part of it is cut off. But people often neglect the fact that though the growth seems to be very strong and endless, the pores used to support and hold hair are instead very fragile and finite. By displaying the whole shrinking process of the pores, this work aims to reveal the essence of “endless” is indeed constant repetition of limited substance or resources and thus not infinite as it may appear.
