Mean solar time

Mean Solar Time is a short film that want to yell to the world the powerlessness of the artist in front of the destruction of the world. The time is too fast and suffocate the artist that can’t express himself with serenity anymore: because the world is dying so the art can’t enjoy the eternity anymore. The artist live his life with anxiety and want to scream to the universe to stop, but the time run and run out: there is only death for the art. All the video is kept in a daytime, for this reason Mean Solar Time, in which Mean is like “significant” time to the earth.

For this video I was inspired by great preformers and videoartists like Bruce Nauman or Chantal Akerman that I wanted to honour and renew.
