"LIXO-NGEN MAPU" is framed by caring for the environment, and the impact it generates on our body, spirit and mind, destroying our sensitivity and disconnecting us from our true nature; in a story that aims to open questions through a visual and sensorial language for the interpreter and question our existence and its fragility.
What is our relationship and sensitivity with the natural environment? Where does this intrinsic nature reside? What leads us to that which self-destructs us, turns us upside down and intensely shakes our unconscious? Do we really seek to free this suffocating element of an absorbing and fleeting daily life?
In this work in progress, objects are exposed in a metaphorical and exhausting way for the interpreter's body. In this way, an experience unfolds for both the artist and the viewer, making the development of the work part of their experience.
Can we, humans, rethink the way we live with the environment that sustains us? Can we increase our awareness and appease our self-destructive sentence, which leads us to fragility and weakness? Can we value the different manifestations of life that coexist with us on the same planet?
