È richiesta pazienza, concentrazione, anche divertimento, perché no.

This video represents a performance, in a neutral, aseptic, almost clinical environment but with an almost heavenly sense, where space and time stop.
This is because this place must represent all the places where this performance can be done. Perhaps a happening more than a performance, where who is the performer is the user, the viewer, who lends himself to do what is asked by the artist, who merely gives an input, a starting point.
Having myself succeeded in what I hope others will try, in carrying out these actions in order to achieve the sensation of peace and unity.
It is a work conceived before COVID-19, when my thought had gone to the inability to listen deeply, both on a personal and relational level.
I thought that if people, families, friends but also strangers with a little courage took a moment to listen to their hearts and those of others, at the same time, they could have forgotten the obstacles, barriers, doubts, grudges and uncertainties, relying on the primordial sound that accompanies us from the first moments of our lives, which is often taken for granted.
Vibrating drum and never liar, metronome of our emotions. The heart.
Now that years after that thought the pandemic has distanced people even more, creating new meanings for words such as "gathering" or "social distancing", perhaps this gesture becomes even more risky, even more significant.
The performance consists in approaching, on a "ring" that is usually an intimate space, a mattress, where you meet and in a completely spontaneous way what is asked is to try to find the perfect joint so each of the people (in groups of 2/3/4) must try to feel their heart, the heart of the second person and that of the third / fourth in several points of the body.
The points of contact, so far experienced, are the ear on the chest, the fingers on the wrist, the fingers on the neck. It could be easy, initially it isn't. Patience, concentration, even fun are required, why not.
The intention is that people find in unison, once they find the position and that they vibrate together, synchronizing, abandoning themselves to the most powerful sound there is, for a journey to the ends of time.
To get together and find others again. Because in the end we are the others.
