The idea of this piece is "what should my eyes be seeing?" It was a battle within me to paint something acceptable to everyone or something that is within me. So I wrote a poem on how I felt and I painted this piece experimenting with using some tool to create a digital feel. The silver pixels on certain parts of the painting is my attempt ti create the texture that I wanted. This piece tone and manner borders on the raw human-animal instinct. As I was painting this that instinct was obviously manifesting through me.I painted with honesty.
I have written an accompanying poem which can be exhibited together with artwork if required:
Do I see love written everywhere?
Am I angry because love isn’t there?
My heart is on fire
With a burning desire
My eyes see more love to share
With those whose life is hard to bear.
I see their tears
And feel their fears.
My spirit yearns to tell their stories,
Hopefully I can alleviate their miseries.
With this gift from the Almighty,
I shall paint and serve across humanity.
