In “We’re
gonna get out of this”, an asexual figure walks almost dancing among the trees.
I chose the blue color to describe the shapes and communicate spirituality, life and rebirth. I wanted to create an
inconstant vision that seems to crumble before the spectator's eyes, showing a
completely surreal landscape, where the two-dimensional description is
interrupted by the passage of a thin brown tube, which crosses the canvas
transversally, catapulting reality into the unconscious. A rather turbulent scenario
I characterized by a geometric expressiveness, whose regularity is broken by
hollow contours.
In this
work, the insecurity of life takes the form of a dancing body, which moves
sinuously in the undergrowth. A place usually dark and impervious, becomes
here, instead, a place full of light and hope. A visual antithesis, where
everything merges into a unicum, so that the viewer can feel strong sensory
vibrations.
