“Ways for Silence” (2022) portrays a space of reflection, pause and harmony, which the artist seeks to find and remain in. With no date or place, the three main elements interact in perfect harmony: the light, a broom and stairs. The ladder is the symbol par excellence of ascension and appreciation - slow and gradual - and a two-way communication path between heaven and earth. The broom symbolizes female empowerment: according to ancestral practices, when a woman sweeps, cleans and puts in order the energy of the physical space around her, at the same time, she cleans and puts in order her own heart. Thus, the work portrays the descent of light to earth, where downward communication comes to welcome and involve a spiritual and mundane world.
