This artwork is created using acrylic paints, tissue paper and gold foil. The contrast between vibrant blue tones and the white background creates a sense of energy while gold foil ads a hint of luxury. I was inspired by the play with texture, materials, light and shadow. The interpretation of the artwork is left open to the viewer. To me the energy conveyed through colour and texture represents flow and growth in life.
