In WATER ON FIRE, another Mancone’s “contrast message”, the artist focuses totally on thermal paper, an element that he inserts following a path of research of the ordinary material.
The artist completely remove the color factor: neither paints nor sprays were used for the realization. The visual result is obtained by burning thermal paper with an heat gun.
The painting background is entirely burned, veining and writing have been made with water, a contrasting element.
