I applied oil paint to a canvas and "washed" it with dishwashing detergent and a sponge.
In my works, I use everyday materials in order to highlight the loftiness and sacredness of art at a higher and lower level. Items such as correction tape, marker pen, Google, etc., abound in my daily life in the 2000s. My aim is to create a moment where the image or process created by these materials takes on the presence of the history of contemporary art and painting. While they continue to overlap, switch, and come and go, only the loftiness and sacredness that surrounds them is left behind. What I am trying to do through my works is to objectify the entire visual arts, including the people who look at them.
