"Warrior of the Sunset" is a study of an African Maasai warrior silhouetted against the sunset. One of Aria Luna's specialties is evoking the deeper emotions of human faces and figures, and linking us across time and across cultures through her imaginative use of color, texture, and contrast, unfettered by the restrictions and inhibitions that formal training can at times impose.
