Wall

Metal foils on a traditional Mexican sarape do violently interrupt the design. It is the wall: physical and mental barrier, which offends peoples and landscapes. On the border between two worlds is the denial of Dialogue, the deprivation of hope. It becomes a recurring motif, almost obsessive that also returns in the paintings of the same series.

Lame metalliche su un tradizionale sarape messicano ne interrompono violentemente il disegno. È il muro: barriera fisica e mentale, che offende popoli e paesaggi. Al confine fra due mondi è la negazione del Dialogo, la privazione della speranza. Diventa un motivo ricorrente, quasi ossessivo che ritorna anche nelle pitture della stessa serie.
